Beginner's Guide
New to PostRite? This guide walks you through everything you need to know, from signing up to publishing your first post and beyond.
1. What is PostRite?
PostRite is a social media management tool that lets you create, schedule, and publish posts across multiple social media platforms from a single place. Instead of logging into each platform separately, you write your content once and publish it everywhere.
With PostRite, you can:
- Write a post and publish it to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more — all at once
- Schedule posts to go out at a specific date and time
- See how your post will look on each platform before publishing
- Save reusable templates for content you post frequently
- Manage a library of images and videos
- Invite team members to collaborate
2. Creating Your Account
Go to app.postrite.app and sign up. You have three options:
- Google — Sign in with your Google account (fastest option)
- Magic Link — Enter your email and receive a sign-in link (no password needed)
After signing up, you'll go through a short onboarding wizard that helps you create your first organization and set your preferences.
7-Day Free Trial
Every new account is eligible for a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. Select a plan and enter your payment details to start — you won't be charged until the trial ends.
3. Understanding the Interface
After signing in, here's what you'll see:
Sidebar (Left)
The main navigation is in the left sidebar. Here's what each page does:
- Dashboard — Overview of your account activity and recent posts
- Posts — View all your posts (drafts, scheduled, published, failed). Create new posts here
- Queue — See your upcoming scheduled posts in chronological order
- Templates — Manage reusable post templates
- Calendar — Visual calendar view of your scheduled content
- Uploads — Your media library of uploaded images and videos
- Platforms — Connect and manage your social media accounts
- Settings — Account, notification, appearance, team, and billing settings
Organization Switcher
At the top of the sidebar, you'll see the organization switcher. This lets you switch between different organizations if you're part of multiple ones. Each organization has its own posts, platforms, media, and settings.
4. Connecting Your Social Accounts
Before you can publish posts, you need to connect at least one social media account:
- Go to Platforms in the sidebar
- Find the platform you want (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
- Click Connect
- Follow the prompts to authorize PostRite
PostRite supports 11+ platforms:
- Facebook Pages
- Instagram Business
